Dear Belgian lovers,
We are proud to be organizing the 5th Dutch Belgian Specialty weekend with the current composition of our show committee. Another weekend with two days of show where BHCN organizes its show on Saturday May 25. We are happy to be guests again at KV Waalwijk, who is a very pleasant host every year. This year we have another great registration from… dogs from different European countries. There would be no show without you, so we are happy that you have registered again in large numbers.
Like every year, we put a lot of effort into inviting the best possible judges to judge your dogs. This year there will again be two renowned judges for the assessment of your dog. We are happy that Mr. Firmin Aertgeerts (Tervueren kennel Grimmendans) comes from Belgium to judge the males and from Spain Mr. Miguel Casado (Tervueren kennel del Segadal) comes to judge the bitches. Two judges who have been very active in all kinds of areas within Belgian Shepherds for decades. After the ring of honour, the selection inspection will again be held this year for all dogs with a minimum age of 18 months that achieved an excellent on this day. You will receive an invitation for this in the ring.
We have again found Mrs. Yannick Butez and Mr. Hans Jürgen Fischer as our “house photographers”, which in turn guarantees beautiful photos of your dog. We strive to ensure that all registered dogs are photographed.
On Sunday the Suprême Best in Show will again be chosen from the winner of the show on Saturday at the BHCN and the winner of our championship club match. This year there will again be a nice prize for the winner.
As usual, the behavioral test will be held today, where the dogs can show that they not only have the “looks”, but also the desired behavior for a Belgian Shepherd. There is also a possibility for a (breeding) inspection. You can register in advance for both. Don’t forget to visit the stands present! For the inner man there is something to get in the canteen of KV Waalwijk.
